Finding
myself unable to easily source cruise related
gifts and inspired by the words of Sara Henderson
"Don't wait for a light to appear at
the end of the tunnel, stride down there and light
the bloody thing yourself." the first
spark of the idea of what was to become Cruise
Gift Store was born.
From
just an idea in 2007 Cruise Gift Store is now
making sales largely to the UK, but also further
afield to customers in America, Canada and Australia.
Now
my aim of providing a range of gifts that will
appeal to 'cruise addicts' everywhere is beginning
to bear fruit. It has been a steep learning curve
with many late nights having gone into getting
my dream off the ground. I am trying to develop
an ethos of "here and coming soon" with
gifts which will inspire as I search for (and
develop) the new, the surprising and the
unexpected. That said it often takes many days,
if not weeks, to develop an idea through to the
finished product on the shelf.

that special something!
The
unsolicited feedback
that I’ve received from customers in the
initial period of trading is more than heartening
and only strengthens the resolve to serve them
even better this year and beyond.
From experience I know that often there isn't
a lot of time available to spend searching for
the perfect gift. So, if you are looking for something
a bit different, for yourself or for friends and
family that love to cruise, my hope is that I
can help make that process a little easier than
before!
